2 Injured in Wood County Car Accident
Two people are injured following a two vehicle accident in Grand Rapids, just East of Wisconsin Rapids.
According to a press release, the accident happened Thursday.
Authorities say 24-year-old Sheldon H. Rendmeister of Wisconsin Rapids and 20-year-old Kyle E. Finup also from Wisconsin Rapids were injured.
They say Rendmeister was traveling westbound on Washington Street, when he crossed the center line and collided with Finup’s vehicle.
Both drivers were airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
The crash remains under investigation.
