2 Killed in Minnesota Motorcylce Accident

A 21-year-old female and a 22-year-old male were killed Friday in a motorcycle accident near 17605 Woodrow Road in Nokay Lake Township, northeast of Brainerd, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday.

It appeared the motorcycle was traveling east on Woodrow Road when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and it left the roadway. The victims were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s office is not releasing the names of the victims or where they’re from pending notification of family.

The accident was reported at approximately 7 p.m.

The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the State Patrol and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Ambulance Service. The accident is being investigated.
