Premises liability. What is it?
Premises liability is suing for injuries you experienced, usually at a public place, in which case the surroundings contributed or were fully responsible for your injuries or damages.
For example, you are walking up the ramp at a local mall and are struck by a car. Anyone, not experienced, would usually think of suing the driver of the car for damages. While this may also be a possibility in any case, sometimes it is much easier to get a big settlement from the business, a mall in this case.
The bottom line is if you are injured, you must explore all possibilities to see that you get a large personal injury settlement to compensate you , at least, financially. The key in doing so is finding an experienced personal injury attorney in your area. Attorneys know the law well, and many of them only take payment out of the settlement itself.
